Yarden Mills

Social Media Manager

Yarden Mills serves as the Social Media Manager at the Civil Commission, bringing her unique international perspective and expertise in communication to the role. She made Aliyah from Singapore at the age of 19, demonstrating her commitment to Israel and her adaptability to new environments.

Currently, Yarden is pursuing a dual degree in English Literature and Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In addition to her studies, Yarden works at the Hebrew University's Press Office for International Media as the International Media Coordinator. This position equips her with valuable experience in managing media relations and crafting messages for an international audience, skills that are essential in her role at the Civil Commission.

Prior to her current positions, Yarden gained significant experience in government communications. She served for two years as the Personal Assistant to the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, following her completion of two years of National Service at the same ministry. This background in diplomatic communications provides her with a nuanced understanding of public affairs and government relations, which she applies to her work at the Civil Commission.

Yarden's diverse experiences, from her international background to her work in government and academia, make her well-suited to manage the social media presence of the Civil Commission, effectively communicating its mission and activities to a wide audience.
