Nirit Samocha

COO

Nirit Samocha is a co-founder of the Dvora Institute and is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Civil Commission, where she brings her extensive experience in technology and management to oversee the organization's operations. Nirit Samocha oversees the development of the archive's infrastructure and technological systems and leads the Commissions partnerships with high-tech giants such as Microsoft, Wix, and others to provide infrastructure, security, and data maintenance.

With over 25 years of service in the Air Force Technology Unit of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Nirit retired as a lieutenant colonel. During her military career, she held various command and management roles, managing professional personnel in research and development, IT, system architecture, engineering, innovation, support, and maintenance.

Nirit has a proven track record of initiating and leading cross-organizational processes, including re-branding, strategic organizational change, and streamlining processes. She is currently a senior consultant, overseeing complex projects in software and infrastructure, and she volunteers as a team leader at the Bell Association. One of her notable achievements is the establishment of the national cyber center for the Ministry of Energy.

Her academic credentials include an MBA from Ben-Gurion University and a BA with honors in Computer Science and Education from Bar-Ilan University. Nirit's expertise extends beyond project management, as she has driven significant improvements in organizational processes across both business and security sectors.
